Data we process and how we collect it
Depending on the service used, the following data may be collected electronically through website forms, registration and payment links, email, phone or face-to-face communication:
- Identity and contact data: name, surname, email, phone and, when legally required, billing details.
- Education and registration data: selected program/workshop, child’s age group, attendance and request details.
- Transaction data: order/payment reference, amount, date, invoice and refund records. Full card data is processed by the payment service provider, not stored by Sinemart Kids.
- Application data: CV link, professional information and cover letter for team applications.
Purposes and legal grounds
- Responding to information, registration and contact requests; establishing and performing the education service relationship.
- Managing payment, invoicing, accounting, refund and dispute processes.
- Planning class groups, communicating operational updates and ensuring child safety.
- Assessing team applications and protecting legal rights.
Processing is based, as applicable, on the necessity to establish or perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, establish or protect a right, and the data controller’s legitimate interests under Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698. Where explicit consent is legally required, it is requested separately from this notice.
Online sales and payments
Workshop payment links may direct users to the iyzico payment environment. Card data is entered directly into the payment provider’s infrastructure. Sinemart may receive transaction confirmation and reference information needed for registration, accounting, refunds and disputes.
Online sales also require consumer-facing pre-contract information and, where applicable, a distance sales agreement. Those documents are separate from this KVKK notice and should be presented during the checkout flow.
Transfers, security and retention
Data may be shared, only as necessary, with website/form hosting providers, payment and accounting service providers, professional advisers, and authorized public bodies. If a service provider uses infrastructure outside Türkiye, transfers are carried out only after the safeguards required by Article 9 of Law No. 6698 are put in place.
Data is protected with proportionate administrative and technical measures and retained for the period required by the relevant service, limitation periods and legal obligations; it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the applicable rules.
Your rights and applications
You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, including learning whether your data is processed, requesting information, correction or deletion where the legal conditions are met, and objecting to an adverse result arising exclusively from automated processing.
Applications may be sent to the postal or email address above with sufficient information to verify identity and the subject line “KVKK Data Subject Application”.
