Core Program
Philosophy for Children (P4C)
Philosophy for Children (P4C) is an inquiry-based educational approach that encourages children to ask questions, reason logically, and reflect on ideas. Through dialogue, stories, and collaborative thinking activities, children learn to examine concepts such as fairness, truth, knowledge, and responsibility.
The program supports intellectual curiosity while strengthening children's ability to think independently and respectfully engage with different perspectives.
Scope
The course introduces four key thinking dimensions emphasized in P4C: critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborative thinking, and caring thinking. Through philosophical stories, group discussions, and reflective exercises, children learn how to question assumptions, build arguments, listen to others, and develop their own ideas.
Learning Outcomes
Students will develop the ability to question ideas, articulate their thoughts clearly, and participate in respectful dialogue. They gain confidence in expressing opinions, analyzing problems from multiple perspectives, and engaging in thoughtful discussion.
